For Mark Phillips, Stick to your guns Mark, you have every right to be concerned about your site and the type of posts. Coming from Red Hook is not a license to write anything you want. Admittedly those shark posts were harmless, but you as webmaster can question a post anytime you feel like it. You have a great area web-site, and deserve a lot of credit for keeping it on the up and up..... |

Peter, I'm sorry if I offended you. No I didn't grow up in Red Hook, but I have lived in Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens for 17 years. I go to Red Hook regularly, have friends there, and have operated this website for over 7 years. You have to admit the shark posts were pretty strange. I deal with lots of spammers on the guestbook and I just wanted to make sure you were a real person. Thanks for clearing it up. Mark |

For Dolores Defelice: Boy I haven't heard Junior's name in a long time. I remember him well as well as his brother Sharkey. We all "hung" out together as teenagers and were so proud to know Junior when he fought on TV. If I remember right, he lived over Patsy's fruit & vegetables store. Those were very precious days and I still treasure them. Regards to all. Ray (Woodsie) Viegas |

Dear John, I want three copies for me and my two sisters. I told Anthony already. I saw the tape at the re union and yes It did bring me to tears. It was a fast moving tape and not always very clear but that didn't matter at all. Visitation BVM really can use the help and thats a great idea for the money from the tape. Anyway,,, Please keep us posted, YOu Guys did a great job. It was worth it and when I saw my dad Jackie Dell Walking to the Pitchers mound, that was priceless to me !!!Thank you all again Sincerely ,Peggy Della Porte A proud Red Hooker |
